Mayor Belen Fernandez (right, forefront) and Police Lieutenant Colonel Brendon Palisoc (left, forefront), officer-in-charge of the Dagupan City Police Station, lead the Manlingkor Ya Kalangweran 2023 Young City Officials and police officers in a traditional boodle fight on June 15, 2023 at the DCPS to celebrate the police station’s achievement as Top City Police Station in Region 1 in the Unit Performance Evaluation Rating of the Philippine National Police for the month of May.
Young City Mayor Princess Johnelle M. Baniqued (at mayor’s right) of East Central Integrated School, Young City Police Chief Wilona Hannah Pe of Divine Word Academy of Dagupan (at Palisoc’s left) and Young Public Order and Safety Office (POSO) Chief Cleofy Dexiel E. Cabal (beside Pe) of Genesis Advanced Intech Academy experienced eating the meal composed of rice, chicken, fish, pansit, beef and shrimp laden in banana leaves.
POSO Chief Arvin Decano and Councilor Marcelino Fernandez also joined the activity which is a Filipino ‘army style’ or ‘kamayan’ eating that originated from the Philippine military where a big pile of food is served in the middle of a long table.
